Thank you for supporting this amazing event!
For years, we have been talking about rights. Rights of free speech, life, religion, the right to defend one’s self. We talk of defending these rights, but as citizens do we recognize what our responsibilities are?
Our founding fathers, who created the documents that outline our rights, stood with virtue and self-reflection. They debated one another long hours with civility and compromise to bring the nation together in common purpose. Do we, as a nation, still agree on core principles and values? How can we move forward if we don’t first have a base understanding and agreement of what our principles and values are?
Thank you for joining us for our Mercury Museum this past June 2018, where we delved into what makes America the most innovative nation – Our Constitution and Bill of Rights and the stories and events of how we have interpreted them for good and for bad.
Throughout the event, there were private tours through the museum led by Glenn Beck, David Barton, Doc Thompson, Stu Burguiere, Jeffy Fisher and Brad Staggs, each providing their own unique perspective on our Rights & Responsibilities.
