In wake of the horrific videos that surfaced last year of the persecution of Christians in the Middle East, Mercury One launched a campaign called, Never Again Is Now, that sparked a movement of taking action and standing up for truth. During WWII, the world stood silent when 6 million Jews were annihilated for their beliefs. As a nation, we declared, “Never Again.” Today, we are seeing genocide take place as Christians are being annihilated by ISIS for their faith. Dietrich Bonhoeffer once said, “Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.” Mercury One spoke up and took action through the Nazarene Fund, which has given us the opportunity to rescue Christians from the Middle East and relocate them to other countries where they can freely practice their faith without fear of retribution. While we are truly grateful to Slovakia for accepting 150 Iraqi Christians, and our donors for their sacrifice and contribution to the Nazarene Fund, the journey has only begun. The call is far greater and it is time for us to stand united and call the persecution for what it is, a genocide. Together, let us stand united to declare, Never Again Is Now.
If you would like to take action and help put an end to the genocide, we encourage you to sign the petition, Stop The Christian Genocide that was started by the Knights of Columbus. Together, lets add pressure to the U.S. State Department and Secretary of State, to call the persecution of Christians in the Middle East a genocide. While Mercury One is not a political organization, we are passionate about helping the Christians in their time of need through humanitarian aid and relief. If the United States acknowledges the persecution of Christians a genocide, this will help open doors and possible opportunities not only for the families, but for Mercury One as we continue to rescue the Christians through our Nazarene Fund.
Join us today in signing the petition by March 17, 2016, to stop Christian genocide.
Never Again Is Now.
