MERCURY ONE
15 years ago, the call to restore the human spirit began.
Well, it really began on September 12, 2001. That historic day, in the midst of the rubble, the unimaginable, the tears, Americans looked at each other not as fellow citizens, but as neighbors. As fellow human beings. As children of God.
Prayers were heard on the streets. Strangers hugged and cried over people they had never met. Differences were set aside. Petty arguments dropped. Overnight, serving and sacrificing for one another became a natural reflex. It was this raw, natural display of the human spirit that sparked something in Glenn, a vision of an organization whose mission was to restore this human spirit. That after tragedy, after the unthinkable, after the worst case scenario occurs, there could be a nonprofit that comes alongside hurting individuals and provides the tools, resources, and knowledge necessary for their lives, hope, and spirit to be restored.
In 2011, Mercury One was founded,
a nonprofit focused on restoring the human spirit after natural disasters and humanitarian crises, while also building the human spirit at the daily level by supporting our veterans, combating human trafficking and abuse, and supporting educational initiatives that tell the true story of America.
Glenn envisioned Mercury One to be different from other nonprofit organizations, which is why 100 percent of designated donations go to directly support those in need.

Which is why, over the last 15 years, Mercury One has been able to have a significant impact in restoring communities and lives after historic hurricanes, floods, wildfires, tornadoes, blizzards, earthquakes, and typhoons.
From the very first operation in Joplin, Missouri, in 2011 after the deadly tornadoes that captured the nation’s attention to now, you have allowed us to be the first ones in and the last ones out during a disaster, never waiting for others or the government to take action, but time and time again answering every call to action.
In 2015, that is why Mercury One founded The Nazarene Fund,
as our nation watched ISIS behead Christians and other religious minorities publicly. We knew we could not simply sit back. Since then, we have helped rescue and restore the lives of hundreds of thousands of individuals around the globe who are persecuted for simply believing in their faith. When Afghanistan crumbled and people were targeted for simply worshiping the God of their understanding, you made miracles happen.
The State Department did nothing.
The government turned their backs.
It was up to us.
In a matter of three days, you made miracles happen. We did what no other organization had ever done before. Private citizens came together and rescued over 15,000 individuals with privately chartered planes in three days. Since then, over 24,000 individuals in Afghanistan have been rescued and aided by TNF.
We never thought something like that was in the cards for our small but mighty organization. But over and over, we see what our God can do. We see what the commitment to restoring the human spirit can bring. We see the goodness of people that shines brighter than any form of darkness.
In 2020, we started the next venture of Mercury One, The American Journey Experience,
because restoring the human spirit of a culture and nation must start in the minds of the next generation. It needs to be found in the classrooms, around the dinner table, and it must be found in the hearts of this generation of Americans.
Which is why we, alongside WallBuilders, have collected one of the largest private collections of artifacts in the world. We have over 100,000 artifacts from Christopher Columbus to the Space Race that tell the true story of America and the providential hand of God over it. We have traveled across the nation, educating hundreds of thousands of Americans with the truth and allowing them to hold real moments of history and watch it spur them into action to make the America they know a better place.
You have been part of every step.
Every major event around the nation, every hug after a disaster strikes, every plane taking off around the globe, students’ eyes lighting up with newfound knowledge, and in the small, in between moments consistently reminding the world that good still exists and that the human spirit is alive.
